Lucky, lucky you! Wish I could have seen that, instead of even being at the school I'd graduated from, for graduation night! > <;; (the school humiliated me one last time, that night....Knew I should've dropped out like the rest of my graduating class! )
Well, the elimination started when two girls in my graduating class made the mistake of getting pregnant out of wedlock (and with the school being a so-called 'Christian' school, my teacher made them read 'The Scarlet Letter' out loud and in front of the rest of the class, and then the principal laid into them, humiliated them, and then threw them away). Yet another girl dropped out and got her GED (which is what I SHOULD HAVE DONE). I made it to graduation night, but I was made to sing 'Jesus Loves Me' in sign language in front of the rest of the student body, the parents of the students, AND my friends who didn't go to that damned school! (hence the reason why, the next morning, I threw my cap and gown in my grandfather's burning bin! )
But I'm happy for you, that things went so well after your graduation (and thanks for the hug! )
I'm so sorry that happened to you! Don't feel bad you stayed and finished. They didn't break you. They didn't make you change your opinion. You did not join the crowd that exiled those students. You survived with your integrity. You should be proud of your strength.
Thank you for your congratulations! That means a lot to me.
Thats Awesome Nattie I know you love them So much ... they were a great Band...like everything in life ..things were perfect for them but the music they brought was a magic very few have touched (I look soon )
